We are renowned for our world class surf breaks, however Raglan has so much more to offer, including our natural rugged landscape, our unique connection from shoreline to mountain top, and our daily lives in synchronicity with the ebb and flow of the tides and changing seasons.

Community Activities
Raglan Ramblers meet at 9am each Wednesday (except mid summer) on James St, near Wallis St and the Church.
All are welcome to join the 5 to 15km walks. There is no charge, except to share petrol costs, or for boat fares. For more info ring 07 825 7866. Raglan has lots of attractive places for walking and tramping. We tend to walk, rather than tramp, but from time to time we climb our local mountains, or go for longer walks further afield.
The first meeting to form Raglan Ramblers was held on Sunday 13 May 1990. The nine present had their first walk on Saturday May 26 1990, going to the Pilot Reserve, now Wainui Reserve, where they walked to the trig, took lunch and got caught in a shower of rain. So Raglan Ramblers was 30 years old in May 2020.
